There are 3 main things to remember when choosing your portable 12v caravan TV The most obvious, and often most overlooked, is the actual size of the TV cabinet.

Our TVs come in 3 main size groups – Small (15" – 16"), Medium (18.5" – 19") and large (21.6" and above) These figures are the screen size measured diagonally from corner to corner. To find the actual size of the cabinet of the TV, simply scroll down to below the Buy Now button on each individual television, and click on 'For the full specification click here' This will open a small window with all the TV's features and spec, and the cabinet sizes are at the bottom in mm (to calculate in inches simply divide by 25.4)

Next is the screen technology.
There are 2 options, LCD which is slightly thicker and heavier, and LED which is slightly thinner, lighter and uses approximately 25% less power. If you are very concerned about battery usage, and are away from mains electricity for long periods of time then chose LED.

Finally, we have media inputs, that's either DVD, USB or both.
If you have a large DVD collection and watch them while you are away, of course you need a DVD player. However, the latest movie technology is USB input, which allows you to plug in a USB stick or portable hard drive so you can have more than one movie at the ready. The beauty of this technology is that you can also record on to the USB stick (just like an old video recorder), and pause live TV while you go and make a cup of tea. Most of our TVs now come with this facility as standard, it is very simply to use once you have it, and we highly recommend it. We have sticks available here to get you up and running.
